Our Lady of the Rosary School (Nabutongwa Village, Kalungu District, Uganda) aims to make this website usable by as many people as possible. We design and test these pages to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That is a technical standard for web content; this statement is not a claim that the site is “ADA compliant.”

What this site includes

  • A skip link to move past repeated navigation
  • Landmark regions and a single main heading on each page
  • Visible focus styles for keyboard users
  • A keyboard-operable photo gallery using the native dialog element
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences
  • Color tokens chosen for text and user-interface contrast
  • Automated WCAG 2.1 AA checks in our build process, plus manual keyboard checks for the gallery and menu

Compatibility

These pages are intended for use with current browsers, keyboard navigation, and common screen readers. We do not offer a separate mobile app.

Known limitations

Online donations are processed on a third-party Kindful form operated by Friends of Our Lady of the Rosary School and Orphanage. We do not control that page’s accessibility. Using Donate takes you off this website:
